| The world as I see ....for now anyways. | Next door you see my two cubs out at Nana's and Poppa's house doing their second favorite thing, their first being riding the kitty cat on the track that Poppa made for Micheal on the lake. Mike has really taken to his machine this year and has lost all fear. He had a track at the lake and in our backyard. We have spent most weekends at the lake with the kids so they can take full advantage of the great weather and the snow. Cameron really likes the outdoors and I have to coax the both of them in after hours of being outside. | ||||||||||||||||

These two pictures were taken in November of last year. The picture on the left is Micheal and Kirk Hibert. Kirk is known world wide for his many years of snow cross domination. The picture on the right is Blair Morgan with Micheal. Blair is the current World Champion snow cross racer. After the Snow Cross was cancelled in Sault Ste. Marie the participants all came to Thunder Bay. We were very lucky to get them. It brought world class racing to Thunder Bay and a change to see guys like Kirk and Blair up close and personal. Because of the close quarters the racers were made very accessiable to the public. Not only did we get to meet Kirk and Blair but we had a chance to talk with them as well. Blair really made a great impression on our family. Micheal has idolized Blair Morgan since he saw him perform a heelclicker after winning a race on tv. Micheal was very excited about going to see him here at Loch Lomand. When we arrived Micheal looked at every cat wondering if it was Blair and every race the Blair was in Micheal heartily shouted his support for #7C. After the races were over and we were waiting for the shuttle we walked around looking at the haulers and Micheal immediately picked out the ole #7C just sitting by the hauler. Before we knew what happened Blair came walking up. Tim asked for a picture with him and Micheal. Micheal was soooooo HAPPY! Blair commented on the similar hair colour between himself and Micheal. Micheal thanked Blair profusely and we told him how thrilled we were to have them here in Thunder Bay. As were were walking away to leave with our extremely happy son Blair called to us "Hey kid" and Micheal turned around. Blair took his goggles off his helmet and threw them to Micheal. Our son stood there as if he was handed the holy grail. Blair's kindness will be with us forever. Micheal has place the goggles up on his shelf with his treasured nascar collection. Kirk put Micheal on his sled for a picture and Blair put him on cloud nine. It was a perfect day for our son. This is the all-mighty Blair Morgan doing his world famous "Heelclicker" after winning one of the many races he triumphed in here in Thunder Bay. It was a warm day and the track was muddy and wet. We were treated with great racing just the same. | ||||||||||||||||
